The Heron from Eglinton in the weave Flanders’s Red Black Mail Steamed and some whites… As an avowed lover of cooler climes It’s a tad on the uncomfortable side. Working into the evening tonight it should chill down nicely.

Up the Frog and Toad 4 pieces off to Eglinton Country Park where I picked up my first Heron Sculpture which is coming back for a reweave and partial rebuild. I may post a pic of the last Heron and the first side by side as it’s interesting to see how the steel work continues to develop.
It’s good to be back to full capability with some late shifts tucked under the belt for this one Tunes and the weave in Girvan…

It has been a while since a withy has passed through these hands, I am hoping this will soon be a 7 week hiatus that can be consigned to memory, come Thursday the soak tank will be cleaned out and a batch of willow consigned to water to soak in preparation for my first weaving session fingers crossed and arms and legs. ……,,,.
